Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a painter in the construction industry for at least 2 to 3 years.
- Knowledge of industrial and commercial-grade coatings and painting.
- Knowledge of applying sealants and protective coatings.
- Proficiency with airless and HVLP spray systems.
- Experience driving forklift and telehandler.
- Knowledge of operation of ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
- Knowledge of power washing and sandblasting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor and various weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings, and work specifications.
- Able to work on drywall, including taping and patching.
- Estimate paint quantities and labor costs.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Safely handle and dispose of paints, solvents, and chemicals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of painting equipment and tools.
- Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies.
