Pawsitive Vibes Dog Daycare & Spa is a new boutique dog daycare and grooming salon opening in downtown Toronto.
We are looking for experienced, reliable and gentle dog groomers to join our growing team. Our salon is designed around a calm, low-volume, one-on-one grooming experience for small and medium dogs, with an already growing client base and plenty of opportunity to build a consistent schedule as we expand.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional dog grooming experience
- Gentle, patient and detail-oriented
- Must be able to independently complete full grooms from start to finish without assistance, including bathing, drying, brushing/prep, clipping/scissoring, styling, nail care, and finishing touches.
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients about grooming needs, coat condition, recommendations and appointment details
- Reliable and professional
- Able to provide consistent recurring availability or a schedule several weeks in advance
- Weekend availability is a strong asset
- Comfortable using an online booking/client management system
- Groomers are encouraged to bring their own preferred professional tools, such as clippers, blades and scissors. Everything else needed for grooming is available on-site.Compensation
Competitive commission-based compensation + 100% of tips. Commission rate based on experience.
Applicants with availability for at least 1–3 recurring days per week will be prioritized. We are also open to experienced groomers interested in occasional or relief coverage.
