LC Designer Tiles & Lighting is looking for a Part-Time Showroom Consultant to join our growing team!
This position offers 12–20 hours per week, and flexibility with days and hours is important.We’re looking for someone who is:

Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Retail, interior design, decorating, or customer service experience is an asset—but we’re happy to train the right person with the right attitude.

Duties
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing detailed product information and demonstrations
- Engage in inside sales by upselling products and creating personalized solutions for clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through account management and follow-up
- Manage POS transactions, cash handling, and retail sales accurately
- Coordinate merchandising efforts to ensure an attractive and organized showroom presentation
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products and special events
- Collaborate with the team on customer service strategies to improve overall satisfaction
- Assist with negotiation processes to close sales effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, high-end sales, or showroom environments
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, and basic math for transaction processing
- Knowledge of renovation, construction, or interior design industries is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and account management
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and engage customers effectively
- Experience in upselling, negotiation, marketing, and customer service roles
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
