Javed Law P.C. is looking to add a talented lawyer to the team, to meet the growing needs of existing and future clients.
While the position is open to lawyers with at least one year of practice in Family Law, preference will be given to those candidates with more Family Law experience or can demonstrate a desire to learn and grow with the firm.

Primary Duties:
- Carriage of family law files from inception through to resolution, including divorce, parenting time issues, child/spousal support, protection matter, and division of properties.
- Draft pleadings, briefs, motion materials, legal correspondence, domestic contracts, etc.
- Professionally represent your clients in court (in person and via Zoom).
- Collaborate with the Javed Law team and contribute to a supportive team atmosphere.
- Conduct legal research.
Renumeration:
At Javed Law we offer a variety of pay/benefit structures that are based on either fee split arrangement (60%-65%) on your collected billings or a Salary (pending on performance) with or without bonuses.
All successful candidates will commence their probation period under a fee split arrangement.

Requirements:
· At least one year of post call experience in Family law (not mandatory).
· In good standing with the Law Society of Ontario with no disciplinary investigations.
· Your LawPRO insurance is in good standing.
· This is an in office position but there is an ability to move to a hybrid model upon proven success. This position is located in Barrie, Ontario and the selected candidate will be required to attend the office and court in person.
