Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote special offers or new products.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cashiering processes and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required in the role.
- Must be willing to work on weekends
