We have an immediate opening for a machinist to set up and run our CNC lathes. This position involves machining a variety of hydraulic components primarily from steel and aluminum. We will provide training on our product line but a good working knowledge of CNC lathes is essential. The successful candidate must be self motivated and willing to work with our team to meet deadlines. This is a permanent, full-time position from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekends.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe to produce precision parts according to drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders.
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect and measure finished parts for accuracy.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years previous experience operating CNC lathes.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
