The Liberal Party of Canada is seeking a Coordinator, Direct Response Fundraising for an opportunity to join a dedicated team of staff and volunteers to help achieve the Liberal Party of Canada’s mission and support our work together to deliver real progress for Canadians.
The Coordinator, Direct Response Fundraising will serve to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to acquire, steward, and retain LPC donors through the direct mail channel.

- Plan and coordinate direct mail campaigns that drive one-time and monthly gifts
- Work with partners/vendors to produce direct mail campaigns
- Develop campaign lifecycles from creative briefing, concept development, internal approval process to production and in mailbox delivery, ensuring key messages are on brand, timely, relevant and in alignment with LPC’s goals
- Manage detailed critical paths and ensure on-time execution of direct mail
- Monitor and manage reporting of fundraising campaign results, identifying issues and solutions as appropriate
- Identify new opportunities to improve results or for testing and stay in tune with new and emerging direct mail trends
- Collaborate across departments to keep campaigns on schedule
- Perform cross-functional duties, as assigned
- College diploma or University degree or designation in Fundraising or Marketing, combined with two or more years of experience
- Knowledge of direct mail principles and best practices
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft stories and inspire donors
- Ability to set priorities, multi-task, demonstrate a positive attitude, troubleshoot and problem solve independently using sound judgement
- Strong understanding of how to create effective creative briefs, work with partners and assess performance
- Proficient in Excel and Office Suite, as well as CRM tools – Salesforce
- Good decision-making skills, tactful, good listener, willingness to search out answers, ability to recognize when others need to be involved in activities or decisions
