We are seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, assessing their vehicle service needs, preparing estimates, explaining recommended repairs and associated costs, and coordinating communication between customers and technicians. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, processing payments, arranging billing, issuing receipts, handling customer inquiries, concerns, refunds, and credits, maintaining accurate customer records, promoting service specials and merchandise, and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction. Strong communication, experience, organizational, and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the automotive industry is required (minimum of 2 years in parts/mechanical).
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff (3-4 employees).
- Assist in supervising front-service staff and ensuring efficient daily operations.
- Assist technicians with minor tasks.
- Assess vehicle service and maintenance needs.
- Explain recommended repairs, maintenance services, procedures, risks, benefits, and associated costs to customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding services and promotions.
- Prepare service estimates, arrange billing, process payments, and issue receipts.
- Address customer concerns, complaints, refunds, and credits in a professional manner.
- Coordinate communication between customers and technicians throughout the repair process.
- Follow up with customers throughout the service to ensure satisfaction and provide ongoing support.
- Schedule service appointments and maintain accurate customer records and digital databases.
- Promote service specials, maintenance programs, and automotive merchandise.
- Order shop supplies and maintain inventory as required.
