- Preparing instructional and testing materials relevant to the course being taught.
- Instructing/teaching/testing.
- Marking/grading of exams and assignments etc.
- Providing constructive feedback to students.
- Maintaining regular office hours.

- Master's degree, Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidate preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in the English language is required.
- Background/specialization in subject area required.
- Demonstrated competence in post-secondary teaching required.
- Empathetic approach to the instructional needs and concerns of students is required.
- Previous teaching in the subject area or related area would be an asset.
M/W/F 08:30 AM - 09:20 AM Please note: This appointment includes a requirement to instruct/teach an associated lab in addition to the credit hours and stipend associated with the course. Compensation for the laboratory component will be at a rate of $33.54 per hour (including 6% vacation pay) for all hours worked, in accordance with CUPE 3909 Unit 2, Article 17.3. The Department Head or designate will meet with the successful candidate prior to the start of the laboratory instruction to outline the expected hours and associated duties.
