Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team in Stittsville, ON. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by transporting materials safely and efficiently, contributing to the success of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites
- Winter work includes snow removal
- Year round work
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles for safety compliance
- Collaborate with site managers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs of driving activities and material deliveries
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with minor maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project needs.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Proven 3 years experience as a dump truck driver or similar role IS A MUST
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures
- Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery is a plus (e.g., excavators, loaders)
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
