Group2 Architecture Interior Design Ltd. (Group2) is a firm focused on using collaborative techniques to deliver value to clients in the recreational, educational, commercial and health care sectors. Group2 was established in Red Deer in 1985 and has studios in Red Deer, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Ottawa.
We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a talented Intermediate Technologist who is highly motivated and detailed oriented. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of experience in corporate, commercial, institutions, healthcare, education and recreation projects.
In your role as Intermediate Technologist, you will:
- Work under the direction of a Project Manager/Architect in cooperation with the project team.
- Undertake the preparation of required contract documents, minutes, and schedules.
- Attend on-site visits and field reviews and direct contractors and vendors as required.
- Maintain projects on schedule.
- Monitor internal budgets and schedules.
- Represent the firm in a professional manner.
- Achieve goals in line with the vision of the firm.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized Architectural Technology program.
- Five to ten years’ experience in a Technologist position. Canadian experience required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Revit is required.
- Organized and able to work under time constraints.
- Proficient with building envelope detailing.
- Flexible and able to work with a variety of project teams.
- Strong written and oral skills in English are required.
