Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Demolition Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in demolition projects, ensuring safety and efficiency while working on various residential and commercial sites. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in demolition and construction, supporting skilled trades and contributing to large-scale projects.
Duties
- Assist with the safe demolition of structures, including tearing down walls, flooring, and other building components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision to perform demolition tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project scope
- Prepare work sites by setting up safety barriers and ensuring proper disposal of debris
- Support carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and other trades during renovation or restoration projects
- Operate basic equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and compactors as trained
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for team membersExperience
- Prior construction or demolition experience is required;
