The Concept
Piccolo Caffe e Vino is a bodega and casual coffee shop by day that swings into a full-service bar and restaurant in the evening. Come in for those early morning pastries plus latte art and return after work when the lights are dimmed for a drink and some great share plates.
Offering a casual feel to enjoy an elevated wine and dine experience that evolves as the day goes by. From our permanent Bodega, expect a focus on fun and funky organic wines you can't find from the LCBO and a small selection of locally made goods.

The Role
Our Front of House team is responsible for ensuring the best quality of customer service we can offer our guests with the aim of fostering long-term relationships. Our servers and support team show up with high energy and a passion for people that they bring to work everyday. They show up for our guests by participating in staff training programs and community events, learning their product knowledge and executing our steps of service.
If you’re hospitable in nature, we can train anyone on how to serve.
How do we support you in this?
- Maintain and create an environment where all staff are properly supported and trained, not just thrown onto the floor
- Regularly praising your achievements and successes
- Keeping our staff informed and educated on current and new venue developments
- Reviewing and improving your steps of service and overall job satisfaction
- Staff outings by and/or to vineyards, breweries, and distillers for training
