Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Pizza Maker/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing delicious pizzas, and supporting overall food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and ingredients according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in cooking and assembling pizzas efficiently during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling orders
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Serve customers at the counter or assist with take-out orders as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food handling
- Prior experience with serving or customer service is a plus but not mandatory
