Barrie's only private boutique hair salon for kids is now hiring in conjunction with the LS Clinic
We are looking for a hairstylist who can make kids feel like true Superheroes. The individual will also assist in our LS Clinic for Head Lice removal services.
Weekdays and every second Saturday - 4-6 hours per day, variable hours according to service demand.
We are looking for individuals who love working with kids, families, and special needs. Must be very empathetic, patient with a desire to help others.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair cutting services specific to children and special needs
- Assist clients at the front desk with check-in, appointment scheduling, and payment processing, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Conduct thorough lice screenings and perform safe, effective lice removal treatments using approved methods and tools.
- Educate clients on lice prevention, treatment aftercare, and proper sanitation practices to ensure health and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, treatment areas, and common spaces in compliance with health regulations.
- Upsell additional hair care products or services that enhance client satisfaction and promote retail sales.
- Manage retail sales at the front desk by recommending suitable products based on client needs.
- Ensure excellent communication with clients by listening attentively, answering questions clearly, and providing friendly support throughout their visit.
