Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring high standards of hygiene and comfort. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, industrial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are key qualities for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly within designated timeframes
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness to enhance guest satisfaction and overall property appearance
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, hotel housekeeping, hospitality, industrial cleaning, or custodial services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; weekend availability may be preferred

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
