We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services for a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. Your expertise will help maintain the health and appearance of our furry clients while delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats of various breeds and sizes.
- Assess each pet's grooming needs and provide recommendations to pet owners regarding coat care and maintenance.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for both pets and staff by adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming services, pricing, and any special requirements or concerns regarding their pets.
- Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process.
- Maintain grooming tools and equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Assist in managing appointments, scheduling, and customer inquiries as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and ensure a positive experience.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.11-$34.71 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- grooming: 1 year (preferred)
