Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Pizza Maker, where you’ll be the friendly face and skilled hands behind our fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious pizzas and other menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and food safety guidelines
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash and credit card payments, providing correct change and receipts while maintaining cash handling security
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas by following proper food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order completion and customer satisfaction
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies, rotating stock, and notifying management of shortages or issues
Experience
- Prior food service experience is preferred, especially in restaurant or quick-service environments
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing
- Strong cash handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
