We are seeking reliable and professional Security Guards to protect retail locations and commercial buildings across Montreal. The ideal candidate is alert, customer-focused, and able to respond calmly and effectively in a variety of situations.
Responsibilities
- Patrol retail stores, office buildings, and surrounding premises.
- Monitor entrances, exits, CCTV systems, and access-control points.
- Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security incidents.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and customer or tenant concerns.
- Maintain clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Provide courteous assistance to clients, visitors, tenants, and staff.
- Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
- Liaise with supervisors, emergency services, and law enforcement when required.
Requirements
- Valid Quebec security guard permit (BSP) required.
- Previous experience in retail, commercial, concierge, or loss-prevention security is an asset.
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer-service attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual French and English is an asset.
