We're looking for an experienced detailer to join our team!
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce placing drawings according to Structural Drawings;
- Review detailer's drawings to make sure there are no errors and that they comply with Canadian and government standards;
- Release bar lists to be used for the manufacturing of reinforcing steel length, diameter, and bending requirements;
- Schedule and plan on-site delivery of rebar;
- Draft RFI’s to send to the client;
- Suggest and implement technical solutions to improve site and project challenge outcomes;
- Monitor drawing submission schedule according to the project schedule;
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and our Site Foremen.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a rebar detailer.
- Completion of a college program in a related field.
- Strong ability to visualize structural elements from drawings.
- Excellent mathematical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare clear reports.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, autonomous, creative, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
