Duties
- Set up banquet areas with appropriate tableware, linens, and decorations to create inviting event spaces
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally during banquets, receptions, and special events
- Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as a skilled bartender
- Engage with guests courteously, answer questions about menu items, and provide personalized service to enhance their experience
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed in compliance with health regulations
- Clear tables efficiently, maintain cleanliness throughout the event, and reset for subsequent service
- Collaborate with event coordinators and kitchen staff to coordinate service flow and meet guest expectations
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; strong background in food service is highly valued
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly, with any necessary bartending certifications or training preferred
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
