Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and safety, with the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to roadside assistance requests. This role requires operating various types of tow trucks and providing mechanical support as needed. Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles to designated locations.
- Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance, including breakdowns, accidents, and vehicle recovery.
- Assess the situation upon arrival at the scene and determine the best course of action for vehicle recovery.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs on vehicles when necessary, ensuring safe operation of the tow truck.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition.
- Conduct regular inspections of towing equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in training new drivers on proper towing techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in customer service; strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Knowledge of automotive repair is preferred; mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar heavy equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $40,283.33-$79,246.99 per year
