JOB SUMMARY
Overseeing pipework, shooting pipe, and utility install - storm, sanitary and water.
5 years industry experience minimum. 3 years experience as a supervisor required.
Preferred someone that is familiar with local safety regulations, and municipal codes.
Must be tech savvy - timecards are done using Heavyjob and on an iPad.
Respiratory fit testing required.
Pre-Access D&A testing required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Complete Company required or regulatory documents such as DRA, JHA, Weekly Jobsite Inspections, timesheets, etc.;
- Complete timesheets and diary notes, including pictures, and input reports onto HeavyJob or other Company-prescribed software by 7 AM each day, for the previous day’s work;
- Supervise, mentor and coach Craft personnel as it relates to the Company’s Policies and Procedures and work requirements;
- Lead Crew and Team Members in a professional, collaborative and positive manner;
- Understand production schedule and adjust daily work to meet schedule;
- Direct work of assigned Crew to meet daily schedule;
- Ensure Workers for each task are fully qualified to perform assigned duties;
- Plan work in advance to mitigate/avoid disruptions as well as propose alternative and efficient methods to improve efficiencies and streamline processes/tasks;
- Perform daily forecast of Crew cost and production rate and report to Superintendent as required;
- Perform on-site coordination of manpower, materials and equipment;
- Request material needed for scope of work;
- Coordinate sub-contractors onsite;
- Review Safe Work Procedures and Safe Work Practices and quality documents when formulating work plans and prior to executing job/activity;
- Read, understand and interpret plans and specifications as required and check work according to specifications;
- Complete safety documents and forms on Sitedocs or on paper if necessary, including but not limited to daily tailgates, FLHAs and Toolbox Meetings;
- Maintain high level of safety and adherence to all Safety Policies and Procedures for Craft personnel and subcontractors (above and beyond typical industry standards);
- Responsible for completing Disciplinary Action Forms when necessary to report unsafe behaviours or conditions;
- Present safety topics at Toolbox Talks and other meetings when required;
- Knowledge and understanding of local union or prevailing wage rules;
- Maintain knowledge of Quattro’s Company Values and Strategic Plan;
- Support published Corporate Policies; and
- Perform additional assignments per Management’s direction.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplinary actions; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
RECOMMENDED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED and 1 year related experience and/or training in Construction industry; and
- Advanced knowledge of tool & equipment safety.
Certifications and/or Licensing Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License;
- Required Company or Regulatory Certifications; and
- Required Company Safety Certifications.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus; and
- Able to wear the required safety personal protective equipment.
