Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, and routine vehicle inspections efficiently and accurately
- Replace tires, perform wheel alignments, and balance tires to manufacturer specifications
- Conduct basic mechanical repairs such as brake pad replacements, belt and hose inspections, and battery services
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks with precision
- Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency
- Support the sales team by providing expert advice on vehicle care products and maintenance packages
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as required for tire mounting or parts replacement
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Experience with automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake work, and fluid checks
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety protocols
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn new skills and grow within the automotive industry
