Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and experience in food service environments. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred. Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including bar and dining spaces
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with effective time management skills
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming environment for all guests
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Serving and food handling certifications are a plus but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations
