Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest services, managing front desk operations during night shifts, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and experience in hotel front desk operations. Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse guests and enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer calls promptly and provide accurate information.
- Maintain accurate guest records, reservations, and billing information using hotel management software.
- Conduct nightly audits of accounts, ensuring all transactions are correctly processed and documented.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs promptly.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and customer service throughout all interactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk or hotel reception roles is preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of administrative skills.
- Familiarity with guest services standards within the hospitality industry.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude essential for representing the hotel brand effectively.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
