StarforceHR is currently recruiting on behalf of their client in Mississauga. If you are a forklift operator with a valid license and Walkie, Raymond Reach, Counterbalance, and Order Picker experience of a minimum 3 years, this full-time opportunity could be for you.
Day Shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Unloading, inspecting, checking weights, sampling, recording, locating inventory and bulk unloading.
- Communicates Shortages.
- Wrapping product; locating, moving and/or storing product.
- Delivering product, bag dump and transferring product.
- Participate in ensuring safe working environment, and safe working practices.
- Operates in a safe manner at all time and reports hazards in a timely manner.
- Assists with other duties as required.
- Unpack and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments.
- Operate lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
- All other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
- 3 years experience in a warehouse
- Valid license to operate a forklift.
- Ability to communicate effectively and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.50 per hour
