Overview
We are hiring a startup Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and build our top-of-the-funnel sales pipeline. This role is NOT for people that strive by following processes. This role is for people that enjoy building things from scratch, experimenting, and have a "hunter" mentality to get sales.
Duties
- Set up and experiment with building a top of the funnel sales pipeline
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through marketing, cold outreach, and networking efforts
- Attend in-person conferences
- Be comfortable with Linkedin Outreach, cold calls, and using modern cold outreach tools
- Learn and demo the product to potential customers during discovery calls
- Work directly with the founder to impact the product and marketing strategy
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience
- Asset: experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or technology sales with a focus on business development
- Strong sales skills with the ability to find and close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and sales processes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients
- Prior experience in business development roles within technology or related industries is preferred
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
