Balance Lab is a well-established, multi-disciplinary clinic located in Coquitlam, BC, dedicated to helping our community thrive through comprehensive, personalized care. We offer a range of services, including chiropractic care, acupuncture, registered massage therapy, kinesiology, and physiotherapy. Our focus on rehabilitation and tailored premedical support has earned us a loyal and growing client base.
Due to an increasing demand, we’ve recently relocated to a larger, state-of-the-art facility to better serve our community. In addition, we are located next to a medical clinic, positioning us at the forefront of holistic wellness and health services.
Position overview:
Balance Lab is seeking a dedicated and skilled practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-focused care and will thrive in our collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
Key responsibility:
Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to create personalized treatment plans.
Personalized Treatment: Deliver patient-centered, tailored treatments that address individual needs and focus on their overall well-being.
Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in close collaboration with other healthcare practitioners.
Patient Education: Educate patients on self-management strategies, home exercises, self-care techniques, and the critical role of rehabilitation in their recovery.
Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including all our Rehabilitation Practitioners, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and documentation in line with professional standards
Qualifications:
- Registered Physiotherapist: Must possess a valid registration with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia (CPTBC) and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high professional standards in practice.
Or
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT): Must have a valid registration with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) and a commitment to upholding professional standards.
- Professional Liability Insurance: Candidates must maintain current professional liability insurance to ensure safe and responsible practice.
- Patient-Centered Care Philosophy: A strong commitment to providing personalized patient care is essential. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of creating tailored treatment plans for each individual.
- Empathetic and Compassionate Approach: We are looking for someone who shows genuine empathy and compassion for clients, building trust and comfort throughout their treatment process.
