We are currently looking for a reliable, responsible, and hardworking Overnight Gas Station Attendant to join our team.
SHIFT
Every night: 10:30 PM – 6:00 AM
We are looking for someone who is dependable and able to work the scheduled overnight shifts consistently. This is a stable, long-term position for the right candidate.
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
A personal vehicle is required for this position.
The nearest public transit stop is quite far from the gas station, and public transportation is not convenient for the overnight shift. Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work for the 10:30 PM – 6:00 AM shift.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The overnight shift is generally quiet, with relatively few customers during the night. However, the successful candidate is expected to stay productive and make good use of the quiet time.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Operate the POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Process OLG lottery transactions
- Restock products and maintain the store
- Clean and maintain the entire gas station
- Clean the sales floor, counters, washrooms, floors, and other assigned areas
- Keep the store and surrounding areas clean, organized, and presentable
- Follow all safety and security procedures
- Complete assigned cleaning and other tasks during quiet periods
- Monitor the store during the overnight shift
- Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- Must have a reliable vehicle / personal transportation
- Previous overnight or night-shift experience
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Responsible, hardworking, and punctual
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable working overnight hours
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Basic English communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous gas station experience
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Experience with the OLG lottery system
- Previous cashier or retail experience
- Experience working independently on overnight shifts
