As a key member of the Lexus of Calgary team and reporting to the Service Manager, the Apprentice Service Technician will work with the service department, representing a world-class leader in the automotive industry. Lexus of Calgary is seeking our next great team member to join our team as a full-time Apprentice Service Technician (3rd Year) at our Calgary location.
Summary:
As an Apprentice Service Technician, you will work closely with our team of experienced technicians, collaborating to deliver high-quality service and repairs. The ideal candidate is passionate about the automotive industry, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow their career toward Journeyman certification. In this role, you will support the service team by performing maintenance and repairs while developing your skills in advanced diagnostics and repair techniques. Success in this position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Job Duties:

Assist technicians with maintenance and repairs

Perform oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance

Complete safety inspections accurately

Perform and/or assist with vehicle alignments

Move and park customer vehicles as needed

Pick up parts and maintain shop supplies

Keep work areas clean and organized

Operate tools and equipment safely

Attend training and team meetings

Follow all shop procedures and safety standards

Qualifications:

Enrolled in an educational/training program to become a Technician

3rd-year Apprentice Automotive Service Technician

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

Valid driver’s license (manual transmission an asset)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Working Hours:
-
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays
