Responsibilitie
- Draft and prepare legal correspondence and documents.
- Manage client files from opening to closing.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, financial institutions, government agencies, and the other third parties.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
- Maintain calendars and monitor important deadlines.
- Conduct legal and administrative research as required.
- Prepare and organize documents for transactions, hearings, and court proceedings.
- Assist with file management, billing, and general office administration.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach.
Assets
Experience in real estate, litigation, wills and estates, corporate, or family law matters.
Ability to speak Punjabi.
