Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including utensils, equipment, and prep areas
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
- Support the overall kitchen operations by assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable
