Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Delivery & Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, loading/unloading trucks, assembling and installing various types of furniture in commercial settings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role will also require some (paid) travel. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards for high-quality installations & service.
Duties
- Assemble and install furniture according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Transport furniture to installation sites while ensuring safe handling and protection from damage.
- Collaborate and support team leads and provide exceptional service during the installation process.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during assembly or installation, providing solutions as necessary.
- Maintain an organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in furniture assembly or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during installations.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and perform manual labor as required.
Assets
- Clean driving record with valid drivers license.
- Previous experience moving & installing furniture.
- Bilingual.
- Clean-cut.
- Punctual.
- Available to travel to other Canadian provinces (BC, AB, SK, MB, QC & ON).

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 44 per week
