Healthcare Materials Management Services (HMMS) is a joint venture between St. Joseph's Health Care, London and London Health Sciences Centre created to consolidate functions of purchasing, accounts payable, logistics and inventory management for London hospitals. HMMS also provides similar services for other healthcare organizations in the region.
Reporting to the Manager, HMMS Contract Management, this position is responsible for records and data management, communication with Suppliers regarding contracts, including quote gathering, drafting contract and procurement related correspondence and ensuring execution by relevant signing authorities. In addition, this position supports the Contract Management Team with various administrative tasks using platforms including Smartsheets, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or recognized equivalent in the Province of Ontario
Post-secondary two years certificate in Office Administration
2 years' experience providing administrative support
Demonstrated intermediate computer skills specifically in the utilization of Microsoft Office including Word & Excel
Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
Experience in Microsoft Outlook
Superior interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
Demonstrated flexibility and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively with others in a team setting
Proven ability to work efficiently in a busy environment with the ability to prioritize work assignments and multi-task.

Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
