POSITION SUMMARY
Strike is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR professional for a maternity leave contract position. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist provides support across a variety of Human Resources and administrative functions, with a strong focus on HRIS data integrity, employee records management, reporting, and HR program administration.
The successful candidate will support a culture of safety, professionalism, confidentiality, and collaboration while delivering accurate and timely HR support across the organization.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and maintain HRIS/CMIC employee transactions and records
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations
- Prepare employment letters, new hire documentation, and personnel files
- Support compensation administration, surveys, and reporting
- Coordinate hiring requests, vacation tracking, incentive programs, and disability administration
- Maintain benefits administration and liaise with benefit providers
- Build reports, organizational charts, and maintain HR SharePoint content
- Support management development initiatives and other HR programs
