We are looking for a Reach Operator to join our dynamic Team at our Warehouse Facility in Kitchener.
Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Manage warehouse distribution tasks to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory control and order processing.
- Perform heavy lifting and order picking activities as required.
- Conduct routine mechanical checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Support inventory management through accurate order picking and stock organization.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, and clamp trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Good understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the furniture or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
