Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and oversee all financial operations. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, proficiency with various accounting software, and the ability to manage complex financial processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning to drive the company's growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support decision-making.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Perform account reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to maintain compliance.
Skills
- Extensive experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Proven ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.
- Excellent account reconciliation and account analysis skills.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with external auditors.
- Experience in developing financial strategies aligned with organizational goals is a plus.

Pay: $124,593.52-$130,088.44 per year
