Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team at Bright Minds Early Learning Centre in Fredericton. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners, contributing to their growth and development while embodying our commitment to quality childcare.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 6 months to 5 years.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning.
- Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through various activities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and standards.
- Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education or related field. ECEA will not be considered.
- Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Hold a valid First Aid/ CPR certificate
