Overview
We are seeking reliable and physically capable General Labourers with experience in heavy lifting and warehouse operations. This role involves supporting various aspects of warehouse distribution, shipping, receiving, and construction-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
Duties
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, or other heavy equipment
- Perform order picking and inventory management within warehouse management systems
- Operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely to move large or bulky items
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and handling
- Support construction or maintenance tasks as needed, including heavy lifting and assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or load/unload machinery is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and material handling
- Prior experience in order picking, load & unload operations, or warehouse management is advantageous
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
