Printing Office Clerk

What is in it for you:
- Hourly salary of $21.
- 6-month contract.
- Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
- Weekday schedule 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Interact with customers.
- Manage all emails.
- Receive print orders.
- Determine output requirements.
- Set up equipment, print jobs, and check proofs.
- Perform scanning and document manipulation as required.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Monitor and manage supplies.
- Track and store jobs for future reuse according to customer requirements.
- Record meter readings.
- Process production forms and maintain records.
- Complete billing and month-end activities.
- Operate colour and black-and-white reprographics and mainframe printing services.
- Facilitate quality control to ensure completed work meets customer requirements.
- Perform other assigned duties.
What you will need to succeed:
- Experience operating large centralized digital print equipment.
- Print production experience.
- Experience with black-and-white and colour printers is considered an asset.
- Experience with FreeFlow is considered an asset.
- Experience with bindery equipment is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of print equipment, service offerings, and production processes.
- Ability to detect production inconsistencies and quality issues.
- Experience using PC applications in a networked environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn and follow direction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
