Our expectations
In order to satisfy customer demand, the Lowe's Merchandising team is constantly reviewing the product assortment offered in its stores and online. With this in mind, Lowe's is looking for analysts - merchandising operations support. The candidate will maintain the product assortment information in the systems, according to the merchandising directives, making sure of the quality of that information and by respecting the processes in place and to be developed.

Reporting to the Master Data Management team, the analyst participates in product category review projects, in collaboration with the merchandising, planograms and supply chain teams.

Your role
  • Maintains information in the systems, with precision.
  • Verifies the quality of the information he is provided by the business partners: merchandising and planograms. He guides the partners and may have to provide training to them
  • Understands the problems related to store’s product assortment. He takes actions to resolve them when they occur. He identifies potential long-term solutions to these problems.
  • Is the primary contact all questions regarding product assortment information.
  • Develops, maintains and puts in place processes, procedures and tools required by the task. He documents them.
  • Develops, maintains and puts in pace the tools required to measure performance and quality control, by way of reports and dashboards. He generates and distributes them.
  • Participates, as the primary and key user, to the development of tools by the Information Technology team regarding the product assortment information.
  • May have to offer store and partner support.
  • May have to occasionally work off normal office hours.
The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a similar position
  • Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English)
  • Ability to organize workload and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Thoroughness, initiative, and autonomy
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite and advanced Excel features (pivot tables and search functions)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Access (tables, query, macro)
  • Knowledge of the retail industry and, more specifically, home improvement products (an asset)
