Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellow with interest and expertise in machine learning/data science. He/she/they will develop innovative algorithms that improve the understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and contribute to development of technology-based supports for children. In that context, he/she/they will collaborate with engineers, clinicians, and third-party researchers and laboratories.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform data analyses for clinical research studies. Analyses may include cleaning/aggregating large datasets, visualizing data, statistical analysis, signal processing, machine learning, etc.
- Author manuscripts for publication in peer- reviewed journals
- Contribute to writing and submitting grant applications
- Support the training and supervision of research students
- Manage multiple on-going projects
- Maintaining the privacy and security of data being analyzed by following hospital best practices and procedures
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Recent PhD in engineering, computer science, or related field (Required)
- Track record of academic publications
- Expertise with statistics, data visualization, and machine learning methods
- Proficiency with Python and/or R, specifically related to statistics and machine learning
- Experience analysing clinical research data, such as clinical assessments, survey data, or neuroimaging data (transferable skills also considered)
- Experience communicating research results, including written and oral
