**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced, versatile **Renovator/Handyman** who can work independently and collaborate effectively with specialized trades. This role requires a self-motivated professional with strong multi-trade skills and excellent problem-solving abilities. This is a Semi-Full-time to Full-time position depending on projects we have on the go at the time.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform a variety of renovation and repair tasks across multiple trades
- Work independently on projects with minimal supervision
- Coordinate and communicate with specialized subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, HVAC, etc.)
- Assess project requirements and identify potential issues proactively
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Manage time effectively across multiple job sites or projects
**Required Skills & Experience**
*Core Trade Skills (Must Have):*
- Carpentry (framing, trim work, finish carpentry, window & door installation or adjustments)
- Drywall installation and repair (taping, mudding, finishing)
- Basic plumbing (fixture installation, minor repairs, drain work)
- Basic electrical (outlet/switch replacement, light fixtures - within code)
- Painting and surface preparation
- Flooring installation/repair (laminate, vinyl, tile)
- General maintenance and troubleshooting
*Professional Skills:*
- Minimum 7-10 years hands-on renovation/maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with trades and clients
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
- Time management and organizational skills
- Your own reliable transportation (preferably a truck)
- Valid driver's license
- Own basic tools (specialized equipment provided)
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or general contracting
- Background working across residential and/or commercial properties
- Understanding of building codes and permit requirements
- Project coordination or supervisory experience
