Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, chat, or email with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Assist customers with placing orders, providing product recommendations, and upselling when appropriate
- Process transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Manage cash handling procedures securely and responsibly during order processing
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions for quality assurance
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during all customer interactions
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues promptly and enhance overall customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or food service environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple customer interactions efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain menu items and resolve concerns
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a remote setting
- Experience in restaurant or food industry roles is highly desirable
- Upselling techniques to promote menu items and increase sales
