Position Summary

Reporting to the Site Leader, the Reception Assistant provides reception, administrative, staff scheduling and workflow coordination for St. Marguerite Manor. In accordance with Covenant Care’s Mission, Vision, and Values, the incumbent provides clerical and general office support services as required.\

Qualifications

Grade 12 with post-secondary administrative training
Minimum 2-3 years of administrative experience in a health care or related setting is required, preferably supportive living and hospice
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and scheduling programs, such as QHR, is an asset
Typing skills of 40 - 50 works per minute
Courteous in anwering phones, and assisting residents, families, volunteer and visitors
Ability to set priorities, self motivated, able to work under pressure and deal with people in a stressful situation.
