JOB DESCRIPTION: Dockhand
Gulf Island Seaplanes is looking for a dockhand based out of our Richmond location. We are an indigenous owned company with an excellent safety record and customer service that always knocks it out of the park. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Docking and releasing of aircraft
* Loading and unloading of luggage and cargo under the direction of the PIC
* Fueling of aircraft
* Grooming of interior and exterior of aircraft
* Assist with passenger check-in
* Uphold and believe in our company culture and values
* Treat our passengers like gold -- they really are the best!
* Other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS
* Aviation and/or marine experience an asset but not necessary
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.
* Must be available to work weekends
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
* Excellent communications skills
* Ability to work on your own as well as a team environment
* Excel in a customer service environment
