Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cook/Cashier. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and friendly interactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cashiering, and food handling, with a strong emphasis on sanitation and food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen and dining space
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are desirable
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
