Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable landscape maintenance lead hand with strong knowledge of plant and tree care. This is a hands-on role for someone who can lead by example, support a crew, and handle both maintenance work and softscape installations such as planting trees and shrubs.
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with landscape maintenance (mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, clean-ups)
- Plant trees, shrubs, and perennials with proper techniques and care practices
- Identify basic plant health issues (disease, pests, stress) and take appropriate action
- Prune trees and shrubs correctly based on species and season
- Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail on all properties
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in landscaping (maintenance + planting)
- Solid knowledge of plant and tree care practices
- Comfortable with pruning, planting, and general horticulture tasks
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on-site
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Horticultural or landscaping education/certification considered an asset

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
