Job Overview
RC Construction is seeking a motivated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who have some construction experience and are looking to further develop their carpentry skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople.
The Carpenter Apprentice will assist with a variety of construction and carpentry tasks while gaining hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and agricultural projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters with construction, renovation, and repair projects
- Perform framing, blocking, sheathing, and general carpentry tasks
- Measure, cut, and install building materials as directed
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Assist with finishing work and general construction activities
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous construction or carpentry experience preferred
- Registered apprenticeship considered an asset but not required
- Strong willingness to learn and develop carpentry skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift construction materials safely
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
